Constant Korthout appointed to supervisory board of APG Group

Constant Korthout has been appointed by the shareholders of APG Group NV as a member of the supervisory board of APG Group in the position of chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee. He will start at August 1, 2023, succeeding Mrs. Claudia Zuiderwijk, whose second term in the Board ends this year.  Constant Korthout’s appointment is for a period of four years.

 

Mr. Constant Korthout (60) has been working in the financial sector for more than 35 years. From 2010 to 2022 he was Chief Financial and Risk Officer of the Dutch asset manager Van Lanschot Kempen. Before that, he worked for the international asset manager Robeco from 1992 to 2001, most recently as Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Board. He is currently interim CFO at the Dutch NWB Bank and holds supervisory positions at the Dutch bank Knab, the Royal Dutch Touring Club ANWB and the Dijklander hospital.

 

He graduated in Finance and Investments at Erasmus University Rotterdam and then worked at ABN Bank, a predecessor of ABN AMRO, and KPMG. During his career he took courses at, amongst others, IMD in Lausanne, Nyenrode Business University and INSEAD in Fontainebleau.
