APG has won the award for 'European Pension Fund of the Year'. The award was presented at a ceremony in Vienna on 28 November 2023.
In the IPE awards, no distinction is made between pension funds and administration organizations. Although APG is an administration organization, it was therefore named 'European pension fund of the year'.
In addition, APG received the award for 'ESG Strategy' and the award for 'Stewardship & Engagement'. The prizes were accepted by Katherine Kucherenko, senior relationship manager at APG Asset Management and Maria Yakushenko, Investment Sepcialist Infrastructure and Private Natural Capital.
One of the members of the jury panel described APG as "a true market leader, pioneer and frontrunner in the field of integrated, systematic and active ESG policies, with very good long-term investment results and active involvement in all these areas".
