At the IPE Awards ceremony in Prague, APG won the 'Private Markets' award. According to the jury, APG’s investments in private markets combine financial returns with sustainable solutions, setting an example for others.

"For APG and her clients, sustainability is not just an ethical obligation, but also a compelling long-term investment opportunity. It is an integral part of APG's strategy, aligning with its fiduciary duty to manage long-term risks, generate strong financial returns, and contribute to a more resilient global economy”, the jury stated in its report.

The jury also highlighted APG’s strategic focus on behalf of its clients on impact investing within a segment of its private markets portfolio. "In 2024, APG is increasingly focusing on impact investing within its private markets strategies, aiming to achieve measurable and positive changes, while simultaneously pursuing appropriate and sustainable returns."

APG is seen as leader in private markets investing. It is an honor for me to accept this award on behalf of all the teams involved at APG.”

Over the past three decades, APG’s private markets strategies have evolved from a traditional focus on investments in LP funds to becoming a leading and influential player. "Our strength? Principled and disciplined investing, delivering financial success while also creating meaningful societal value”, said Goossens. He considers the IPE award to be a wonderful acknowledgment and proof that dedication, innovation, and collaboration lead to success.
