S.A.C. (Sarah) Russell

Sarah Russell (1962) is a member of the Supervisory Board of APG Group NV and member of the Supervisory Board of APG Asset Management since May 15, 2021. Since November 1, 2024, she has been vice-chairman of the supervisory board of APG Groep NV.

In addition she is member of the Audit and Risk Committee of APG Group. At APG Asset Management she is chair of the Remuneration Committee and member of the Financial Committee.

Ms. Russell was CEO of Aegon Asset Management (2010-2019) and Member of the Board at Aegon NV (2016-2019). In her career she has gained extensive knowledge in the international financial sector in the areas of asset management, financial services and risk management.

Ms. Russell studied Applied Finance at the Macquarie University in Sydney.
