Today, APG publishes its 2024 Annual Report. In it, we reflect on an eventful year—one in which we worked towards transitioning two of the pension funds we serve to the renewed pension system. It was also a year of making tough choices and, more than ever, looking ahead to the future—towards the APG of tomorrow. That is why 2024 was a year of focus.
The pension sector, and with it APG, will look different once all funds have transitioned to the new system. Stricter regulations and increasing demands from pension funds will shape this new reality. And, as CEO Annette Mosman states in her foreword, to maintain our relevance and remain a strong, solid organization in this evolving landscape, we must change in several key areas. Mosman: “In 2024, we actively worked on shaping this APG of the future. We did—and continue to do—so through four interconnected transitions. In addition to the transition to the renewed pension system, three other transitions are crucial for the future of our organization.”
In the 2024 Annual Report, we take an in-depth look at these transitions, as well as APG’s financial position. The report also features interviews with both internal and external experts, including a conversation with Annette Mosman.
